Editor’s note: ABC News reported that President Obama might come to Minot today. However, Forum Communications learned through North Dakota Senator John Hoeven’s office that the president would not be visiting Minot today (June 28, 2011).

ABC news is reporting that President Obama will be in Minot today to survey the damage. My questions is will he do a fly-by or will he hit the pavement?
I think he will do a fly bye cuz he knows he isnt welcome and this state.
Smart attitude for a town in need! There is people in Minot that are Obama supporters!
Prob. a fly-by cuz the golf course is under water.
The comments above by Matt and Chantel House can only be described as cruel and foolish — and must have been made by two people who have never experienced a devastating flood such as the current Minot disaster and the Grand Forks Flood of 1997. Having lived through the Grand Forks Flood of ’97 — I witnessed firsthand the vital moral and financial support that came from Bill Clinton and his administration’s FEMA — without which Grand Forks today would be a stunted and depressed city which would have lost up to half its population. I hope Matt and Chantel don’t live in Minot — because if they do, and they made the comments they did as Minot residents — they personally deserve any and all misfortune which has and will come their way as a result of this year’s flood.
